Job summary

The Clancy Group is seeking a motivated supervisor to oversee water distribution teams on our Southern Water contract. You will monitor performance, mentor field staff and ensure safe, efficient repair and maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment.

Key requirements include proven supervisory experience, Street Works (NRSWA) awareness, and a management qualification such as ILM. A full UK driving licence is essential; competitive salary and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced environment.
• A sound understanding of Street Works with NRSWA accreditation desirable.
• A management qualification such as ILM or similar.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Attend site meetings to ensure optimal planning of work, plant and labour resources.
• Promote continual improvement and innovative ideas.
• Proactively manage schedules to minimise disruption and preventable mistakes.
• Reduce aborts, re-work and traffic management fines.
• Manage employee training and develop direct reports.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant H&S and environmental legislation.
