Job summary
PepsiCo offers a 12-month placement starting July 2027 for undergraduates to gain hands-on experience in Regulatory Affairs, Food Safety and Quality Assurance within its Global R&D teams. You will work on projects across RA/FSQA, assist with regulatory compliance, ingredient assessment and labeling while engaging with cross-functional teams and site visits.
You will attend manufacturing sites, meet suppliers and travel as needed, with a salary of £26,600 and a supportive development environment
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in a relevant science or technology field.
- Interest in food regulation and regulatory affairs.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in RA/FSQA.
Responsibilities
- Review raw material compliance for launches and maintained products.
- Support transition to automated ingredient data collection.
- Assess finished product labels and lead artwork consistency projects.
- Support FSQA and Regulatory Affairs process improvements.
- Contribute to real-world FSQA projects including risk assessment and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with supply chain, product development and regulatory teams across countries.
- Assist in new product launches and ongoing maintenance with supplier/ingredient assessment.
- Support digital agenda for predictive risk and AI in food safety and regulation.
