PepsiCo is offering a 12-month placement in its Global R&D team, starting July 2027, full-time, based in the United Kingdom. You will work on the Ingredient Science portfolio, applying science-led solutions to improve functionality, nutrition, and consumer benefits across foods and beverages.

You’ll gain hands-on lab experience, contribute to real projects, and develop analytical, reporting and communication skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment with mentoring and development

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with an industrial placement year.
• Interest in food, nutrition or health science.
• Solid scientific principles and curiosity about ingredients, foods and beverages.
• Good data analysis and clear record keeping.

Responsabilités

• Assist with food laboratory experiments and ingredient evaluations.
• Plan and conduct well-controlled practical studies following safety and quality requirements.
• Analyse data and prepare reports, presentations and recommendations for technical teams.
• Support innovation projects by evaluating ingredient functionality and nutritional performance.
• Conduct literature reviews and technology scouting for emerging ingredients.
• Contribute to model food systems and analytical methods development.
• Collaborate with R&D, product development, nutrition and regulatory teams and external partners.
• Share progress with project teams and translate evidence into actionable next steps.
