Job summary

Amcor is seeking a seasoned R&D Portfolio & Project Manager for an 11-month fixed-term maternity cover. The role oversees the regional portfolio of R&D projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring stage-gate governance and standardized reporting.

You will work within the R&D/Innovation Management function, supporting sustainability, product innovation and cost initiatives across global markets, with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design and development.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and KeyShot.
• Experience with MS Office, SharePoint, MS Project and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: develop and maintain a portfolio of projects; prioritize by impact; monitor performance; standardize dashboards.
• Project Planning and Execution: lead stage-gate governance; plan, execute and deliver projects; manage cross-functional teams; mitigation of risks.
• Resource Management: engage with stakeholders; communicate status; ensure alignment; organize cross-functional teams; drive process improvements.
