Job summary

Johnson Matthey Plc is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst, Operations, on a fixed-term maternity cover up to 24 months. You will provide financial reporting and lead forecasting for non-production plants across Europe, driving actionable insights and informed decision-making.

You will analyse variance and profitability, partner with regional finance, commercial and supply chain teams, and support budgeting. A university degree and progress toward an accounting qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to influence finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Experience partnering with regional finance, commercial and supply chain teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt financial performance reporting for non-production plants across Europe.
• Own monthly forecasting activities including product revenue and operating costs.
• Prepare variance, trend and profitability analyses to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with regional finance, commercial and supply chain teams to review performance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for accurate outlooks.
• Review inventory, pricing and cost drivers to reflect forecasts.
• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support tactical decisions.
