You will report to the VP Technology in a Bristol-based environment with flexible hours. The position requires hands-on leadership of a small, skilled team, responsible for delivering an ambitious R&D roadmap, budgeting, and coordinating with partners and the commercial

Qualifications

• Managed people directly, including scientists.
• Led applied R&D projects from concept to output.
• Able to connect day-to-day research to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day delivery of the R&D and innovation roadmap.
• Turn technology direction into concrete workstreams and milestones.
• Lead applied R&D from concept through pilot-scale validation.
• Plan R&D budget and resourcing with VP Technology and Finance.
• Support CFD and systems modelling for new product development.
