Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced machinist to join the team in Tring. You will manufacture precision parts, program and operate CNC mills and lathes, and work with Mazak, Mazatrol, Hurco machinery and Winmax programming in a high-quality shop.

You will read engineering drawings, interpret GD&T, and contribute to ongoing process improvements within ISO 9001 standards. This hands-on role offers growth in a key technology business.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained machinist or 5+ years in a precision workshop.
• Skilled in manual milling and turning; CNC programming.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances (GD&T).
• Proactive, detail-oriented with a desire to grow within the business.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

This is a fantastic chance for candidates with a CNC machining background to join a global powerhouse at the forefront of their industry, who are producing products that will define and shape innovation across manufacturing, scientific and industrial sectors.

You'll be hands-on in the machine shop, manufacturing prototype and low-volume production parts, using a range of materials and machines. This is a varied role where you'll program, set and run CNC mills and lathes, contribute to problem-solving and prototyping, and uphold the highest quality standards.

Your work in the machine shop will be critical to the success of the wider production team and you'll be joining a company with one of the most recognisable brands in the world of technology.

Location

Location: Tring, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £35k-£45k

Working Hours: Mon-Fri(8-5) - half day Friday and 9/10 policy
