Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC machinist for a global technology group in Tring. You’ll be hands-on in the machine shop, programming, setting and running CNC mills and lathes to manufacture prototype and low‑volume parts, using a range of materials and tools to exacting standards.

The role requires apprentice‑trained or 5+ years in a precision shop, plus proficiency in manual milling/turning and CNC programming.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained machinist or minimum 5 years' experience in a precision workshop environment.
• Skilled in manual milling and turning and CNC programming.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GD&T).

Responsibilities

• Manufacture precision parts in the machine shop.
• Program, set up and operate CNC mills (3- & 4-axis) and lathes.
• Inspect work with precision measuring equipment and maintain ISO 9001 standards.
• Collaborate on design improvements and continuous process enhancements.
