Job summary

Parker Meggitt is seeking an early‑career R&D Engineer to support Bristol R&D in developing novel fuel gauging and sensing technologies. You will contribute to definitions, verifications, and safety assessments for emerging systems.

The role offers collaboration with cross‑functional teams, documentation work, and participation in design and test reviews within an innovative aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and design information.
• Knowledge of validation and verification processes.
• Proven problem-solving ability and investigative skills.
• Proficiency in technical report writing and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering for new fuel gauging and sensing technologies.
• Develop and maintain requirements databases for fuel gauging systems.
• Create, update, and maintain test plans and test procedures.
• Support verification and validation activities per project requirements.
• Conduct system analyses including FHA, PSSA and FMEA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance product development.
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to reviews and meetings.
