Job summary

Mondelēz International in the UK offers a 12-month R&D Product Internship as part of the Taste The Future program. You will work with food scientists and product developers to create and improve chocolate products, from concept through to scale-up, while collaborating with marketing, procurement and manufacturing teams.

You will gain hands-on experience in product development, apply scientific methods, and contribute to sustainability and innovation initiatives within a global snacking company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Able to apply scientific methods to new situations.
• Proactive, motivated team player who works autonomously.
• Agile and adaptable with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Interest in food trends, nutrition and product development.

Responsibilities

• Develops new and existing chocolate products with cross-functional teams.
• Participates in concept to pilot plant trials and scales to factory trials.
• Applies scientific methods to solve problems and drive innovation.
• Creates or updates specifications and prepares technical reports.
• Communicates findings to stakeholders and supports sustainability goals.
