Job summary

Mondelez International invites applicants for a Packaging Seasonal and Packaging Tablets intern role within the Taste The Future Program UK. Contribute to packaging concepts, prototype development, and line trials across chocolate brands within a global R&D setting.

You’ll gain mentorship from senior technologists, participate in cross-functional projects and present ideas across the business, with a strong emphasis on innovation and consumer-focused packaging.

Qualifications

Background in Engineering/Science preferred with 2:1 degree (predicted end result or equivalent).
Creativity, curiosity and strong communication skills are essential.
Digital proficiency and ability to use design tools and CAD/3D modelling is a plus.
Able to work collaboratively in diverse project teams and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

Lead and collaborate on projects from ideation to continuous improvement.
Create prototypes and develop at workshop and pilot scale.
Design technical drawings and specifications for new packaging developments.
Attend line trials, first production and commissioning at factory scale.
Research seasonal trends and perform competitor analysis.
Assist in understanding packaging materials and machinery interactions, and conduct testing to support data-driven decisions.
