Job summary

Saputo in the UK is offering a one-year R&D placement in Nuneaton for students pursuing a Food Science or Food Technology degree. You’ll join the R&D team to gain hands-on experience across product and packaging development, from early ideas and trials through to launch.

You’ll work on cheese concepts, packaging solutions, and support testing, analysis and documentation while collaborating with Production, Technical, Marketing, Procurement and Commercial teams. Driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related subject.
• Proactive learner with an interest in cheese and dairy product development.
• Strong teamwork, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new product and packaging development projects.
• Involve in product, pilot and factory trials.
• Help develop new cheese concepts and packaging solutions.
• Support product testing, analysis and development documentation.
• Collaborate with Production, Technical, Marketing, Procurement and Commercial teams.
