Job summary

Saputo, Inc. in the United Kingdom invites applications for a 12-month R&D Technician placement in Nuneaton, to start June/July 2027.

You will join our R&D team to turn university learning into practical experience across product and packaging development. You will support new product and packaging projects, participate in product, pilot and factory trials, contribute to cheese concepts and packaging solutions, and assist with testing and documentation while collaborating with Production,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Food Science or Food Technology or related subject.
• Looking for a 12-month industry placement starting June/July 2027.
• Curious about food and especially the cheese category.
• Keen to learn about product and packaging development.
• Creative, organized and a good communicator.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support new product and packaging development projects.
• Get involved in product, pilot and factory trials.
• Help develop new cheese concepts and packaging solutions.
• Support product testing, analysis and development documentation.
• Work with teams across Production, Technical, Marketing, Procurement and Commercial.
