Job summary

adi Healy Compressors is seeking an experienced Quotation & Estimating Engineer to join the team in the Birmingham area. You will prepare accurate quotations for compressed air installations, upgrades and service requirements, working closely with Sales and Service colleagues.

You will read parts manuals, scope and price projects, maintain CRM records and support proposals on customer sites when needed. Knowledge of ISO 8573-1 or related guidelines is advantageous; full training will be

Qualifications

• Experience in the compressed air industry.
• Knowledge of compressed air equipment and systems.
• Experience preparing quotations or pricing technical solutions.
• Ability to interpret technical information and parts manuals.
• Strong communication, organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Proficiency with IT tools including Word and Excel.
• Proactive, able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of ISO 8573-1, BCAS guidelines, nitrogen generation or low-pressure blowers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations for compressed air installations, upgrades and services.
• Work with BDMs, engineers and customers to understand requirements and provide solutions.
• Read parts manuals to identify required components.
• Scope and price installations and upgrades.
• Maintain CRM records and manage quotation pipelines.
• Attend customer sites to gather information for proposals.
• Support the sales team with technical and installation advice.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
