adi Group is seeking a Quotation & Estimating Engineer in Birmingham to prepare accurate quotations for compressed air installations, upgrades and service requirements. You will work with Sales, Service, engineers and customers to translate technical needs into practical solutions.

You will read parts manuals, price installations and maintain CRM records while supporting the sales team with technical advice. The role involves site visits and close coordination with internal teams.

Location – Birmingham or surrounding areas

About the Role

As a Quotation & Estimating Engineer, you will prepare accurate and timely quotations for compressed air installations, upgrades and service requirements. Working closely with Sales, Service, engineers and customers, you will help turn technical requirements into practical solutions.

• Preparing and developing quotations for compressed air installations, upgrades and services.


• Working with BDMs, engineers and customers to understand requirements and provide suitable solutions.


• Reading parts manuals and identifying required components.


• Scoping and pricing compressed air and blower installations and upgrades.


• Maintaining accurate CRM records and quotation pipelines.


• Attending customer sites when required to gather information for proposals.


• Supporting the sales team with technical and installation advice.


• Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Experience working within the compressed air industry.


• Knowledge of compressed air equipment, applications and auxiliary systems.


• Experience preparing quotations or pricing technical solutions.


• The ability to interpret technical information and parts manuals.


• Strong communication, organisational and prioritisation skills.


• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.


• A proactive approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Knowledge of ISO 8573-1, BCAS guidelines, nitrogen generation or low-pressure blowers would be advantageous.
