Job summary

adi Group in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Quotation & Estimating Engineer to join our Healy Compressors team. You will prepare accurate quotations for compressed air installations and service requirements, turning customer needs and technical details into practical commercial solutions.

Working with Sales and Service colleagues, you will read parts manuals, scope and price installations, manage quotation pipelines in the CRM, visit customer sites when needed, and provide technical advice

Location – We are ideally looking for someone based in Birmingham or the surrounding area.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Quotation & Estimating Engineer to join our Healy Compressors team. Working closely with our Sales and Service teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely quotations for customers, helping to turn opportunities and technical requirements into practical solutions.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and develop quotations for compressed air installations, upgrades and service requirements.
• Work closely with BDMs, engineers and customers to understand requirements and provide suitable solutions.
• Read parts manuals and identify the components required for projects.
• Scope and price compressed air and blower installations and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and manage quotation pipelines.
• Attend customer sites when required to gather information for proposals.
• Support the sales team with technical and installation advice.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Experience working within the compressed air industry.
• Knowledge of compressed air equipment, applications and auxiliary systems.
• Experience preparing quotations or pricing technical solutions.
• The ability to interpret technical information and parts manuals.
• Strong communication, organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of ISO 8573-1, BCAS guidelines, nitrogen generation or low-pressure blowers would be advantageous, although training will be provided where required.
