Job summary

Imerys is seeking a reliable Quarry Operative - Class 2 HGV Driver for Furzebrook. You will operate a Class 2 LGV from the Furzebrook centre, transport materials to the processing site, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Role includes daily pre-use checks, tachograph data handling, and ongoing driver CPC training to maintain qualifications and standards. Permanent, full-time with a 47.5-hour week.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence and CPC qualification.
• GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 LGV tipper vehicle between quarry, processing plant and storage areas.
• Conduct pre-use inspections and maintain vehicle in a roadworthy condition.
• Comply with Drivers' Hours Regulations and Tachograph rules.
