Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK (formerly Hanson UK) is seeking a Quarry Operative at Clee Hill to safely operate a range of plant equipment and support production across the site. You will help maintain a productive, safe working environment and follow site procedures to ensure efficient operations.

The role offers training and development within a global materials leader, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement, while contributing to critical UK construction materials supply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile and static plant equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily inspections and complete records.
• Report defects and maintenance needs promptly.
• Undertake routine maintenance such as refuelling and cleaning.
• Assist with main processing plant operations as directed.
