Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Strong emphasis on health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Good communication and ability to follow procedures.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Team player with general education and ability to understand operational and safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile and static plant equipment safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site procedures and training.
• Carry out daily inspections of plant and equipment and complete all required records.
• Report any defects, faults, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Undertake routine maintenance tasks, including refuelling, greasing, cleaning, and general housekeeping.
• Assist with the operation of the main processing plant as directed by site management.
• Ensure plant and equipment are operated in the most economical and efficient manner.
• Support production activities to maintain operational performance and site targets.
• Complete near miss reports and actively contribute to a positive safety culture.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high operational standards across the site.
