Breedon Group plc is seeking an experienced Quarry Manager for Shierglas Quarry, Pitlochry. You will lead safe, efficient operations, oversee production planning, and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will manage a team, contractors, and budgets, driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency. The role requires a degree in Quarry Management or related field, strong leadership, and a UK driving license.

Qualificações

• Degree or diploma in Quarry Management, Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• Significant experience in quarry operations with leadership track record.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day quarry operations, including blasting, crushing, screening, stockpiling.
• Ensure production targets are met and costs are controlled.
• Lead safety, compliance, and environmental policies on site.
• Manage a team of operatives, supervisors, and contractors.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate reporting of materials, stock, and incidents.
• Prepare input for long-term quarry development and rehabilitation.
