Matchtech is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role in Yorkshire to support commercial management and cost control on AMP8 water projects. The role involves valuations, cost monitoring, subcontractor accounts, and change control across significant water sector work.

The successful candidate will have proven QS experience, a degree in Quantity Surveying, and familiarity with NEC contracts, enabling strong project delivery and cost optimisation within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in water, utilities or civil engineering is preferred.
• Understanding of NEC contracts.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project valuations.
• Monitor costs, forecasts and commercial risks.
• Manage subcontractor accounts and payments.
• Support contract administration and change control.
• Produce financial reports and commercial analysis.
