Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our teams across Scotland and the UK water, energy and environment sectors. You will manage costs from early involvement through to handover, ensuring value and integrity of commercial processes while supporting delivery teams.

You will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, demonstrate strong numeracy, and be willing to travel to sites.

Qualifications

A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
A practical mindset, good math skills, the ability to solve problems and manage project finances.
A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.

Responsibilities

Ensuring robust cost management processes are in place, providing accurate and timely reports, data, and analysis to assist in commercial decisions.
Working closely with the delivery team to identify, implement, and monitor efficiency plans throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensuring all project team members understand the contractual arrangements to meet client requirements.
Supporting our clients to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks to help deliver successful outcomes.
Influencing the contractual and commercial aspects of schemes to ensure robust project control.
Fostering and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication, understanding client needs, and delivering value through effective cost management and project delivery.
