Job summary

Sunblink in Manchester is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with structural steel experience to join a leading contractor delivering major UK schemes. You will manage commercial performance of steel packages, from contract award through final account, working closely with project managers and site teams.

Key responsibilities include cost reporting, handling variations and final accounts, monitoring budgets, liaising with main and subcontractors, and supporting procurement.

Qualifications

• Experience as a QS within structural steel or construction.
• Good commercial awareness and contract knowledge.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing project costs and commercial reporting.
• Handling variations, valuations, and final accounts.
• Monitoring budgets vs project spend.
• Liaising with main contractors and subcontractors.
• Supporting procurement and contract administration.
