Sunblink is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work within our structural steel division in the North West. You will support the commercial delivery of steel projects, manage costs and contracts, and work closely with project teams.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years' Quantity Surveying experience
• Strong background in structural steel/steel construction
• Good commercial and contract management experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting the wider project team

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role within the commercial team, supporting the successful financial and commercial delivery of structural steel projects.

You will be involved across areas including:

• Commercial management of structural steel projects
• Cost control, forecasting and reporting
• Subcontractor and supplier management
• Valuations, applications and final accounts
• Contract administration and commercial negotiations
• Identifying and managing commercial risks
• Working closely with project, design and delivery teams

About You

We are looking for a commercially strong Quantity Surveyor with:

• 3-4+ years' Quantity Surveying experience
• A strong background within structural steel / steel construction
• Good commercial and contract management experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• The ability to work independently while supporting the wider project team
• A genuine interest in progressing your career within the steel construction sector
