Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join its client’s team in London, focusing on bespoke new build, refurbishment, and basement projects with contract values up to £10m. You will manage budgets, valuations, variations and payment applications, procure subcontractors and suppliers, and provide financial reporting across 1-2 projects.

Qualifications

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience within prime residential construction (or similar).
• Strong understanding of construction costs, contracts, and procurement.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Confident managing subcontractors, suppliers, and client relationships.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Proactive, organised and commercially driven approach.

Responsibilities

Quantity Surveyor - Prime Residential

Location: South West London

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Type: Permanent

A specialist prime residential contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its team, working across bespoke new build, refurbishment, extension, and basement projects with contract values ranging up to £10m.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of 1-2 projects, ensuring costs are controlled, budgets maintained and projects delivered profitably and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project costs, budgets and financial reporting.
• Prepare and manage valuations, variations and payment applications.
• Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review tenders, quotations and contract documentation.
