Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding nuclear programme at Sellafield. You will take commercial responsibility for major projects, help with early contractor involvement, and support with estimates, CVRs, and cost reporting.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will mentor junior staff, manage subcontract procurement, ensure contract administration in line with NEC forms, and build strong relationships with clients and suppliers as the

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity surveying or commercial management on infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects.
• Experience managing £10m+ project commercial aspects.
• Knowledge of NEC forms of contract and contract administration processes.
• Experience in cost reporting, CVRs, and forecasting.
• Experience in ECI (early contractor involvement) projects.

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial responsibility for the delivery of assigned projects.
• Assist with development and validation of estimates and forecasts.
• Manage procurement, administration, and commercial performance of subcontract packages.
• Prepare monthly payments and client reporting.
• Produce internal CVRs and cost reporting.
• Administer contracts and handle variations and change control.
• Identify risks and opportunities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Support and mentor apprentices and graduates.
