Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a Derby-based market-leading client delivering innovative infrastructure projects. You will review and negotiate contract terms, manage and administer contracts, and handle change management and compensation events across multiple initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have NEC3/NEC4 experience, strong drafting skills for subcontracts, and a proven ability to resolve commercial issues with internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of NEC suite (NEC3/NEC4) and contract law in infrastructure projects.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating client contracts, including change management and compensation events.
• Subcontract drafting and administration, with focus on risk mitigation and commercial issues.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate terms of new client contracts and manage existing contracts.
• Implement contractual changes using EWN and compensation events; prepare and issue quotes and payment applications.
• Draft and negotiate subcontracts; coordinate with project teams to resolve commercial issues; ensure NEC principles are followed.
