Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Derby team. You will review and negotiate terms of client contracts under NEC, manage existing contracts, and administer change events while supporting project teams to resolve commercial issues.

Candidates should have a Quantity Surveying degree or 4+ years' engineering/technical experience; professional body membership is advantageous. A car allowance and generous benefits accompany a competitive salary.

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of NEC suite (NEC3/NEC4) applied to infrastructure or technology projects.
Degree in Quantity Surveying or 4+ years of engineering/technical experience with relevant body membership advantageous.
Strong contract interpretation and application under NEC principles; understanding of JCT or other contracts is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Review and negotiate terms of new client contracts within NEC framework.
Manage and administer existing contracts; implement contractual changes using EWN and compensation events.
Draft and manage subcontract quotes; handle client payment applications.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve commercial issues and mitigate risks.
