JN Bentley is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) with Anglian Water. The role covers commercial and cost management on a large (£50m+) project from inception through close-out, ensuring value, control of costs and governance compliance.

You will work within an integrated delivery team, support procurement, forecasting, and reporting, and you will be the commercial conscience supporting site teams and management with robust challenge to achieve

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in construction or commercial management.
• Professional qualification such as RIC, CIOB, or ICE.
• Understanding NEC3 forms of contract.
• Experience working in a complex matrix team environment.
• Knowledge of construction law.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• As part of the integrated delivery team, provide commercial challenge to maximise value.
• Support procurement and cost control through forecasting and reporting.
• Ensure Subcontracts reflect scope and comply with contract requirements.
• Maintain live cost forecasts aligned with work breakdown structures.
• Produce reports on actual costs versus estimates and explain variances.
