Job summary

Kier Group plc in Norfolk is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team on the Norfolk County Council Term Service Contract, based in Wymondham. You will support take-offs, cost monitoring, and commercial governance across highway projects.

The role offers 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility, and travel to sites as required. A qualification in Quantity Surveying or progress towards it is expected, along with strong IT skills and a driving licence.

Qualifications

• Holds or is working towards a Quantity Surveying qualification.
• Experience as Quantity Surveyor or in a related role within construction/civil/highways.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate take-offs and produce task price lists for task orders.
• Support commercial management of a portfolio of projects and present scheme performance at gateway meetings.
• Maintain scheme cost monitors, produce month-end CVRs and monitor costs across schemes.
• Use contract management software to value changes on allocated projects.
• Collaborate with operations teams and clients to provide commercial advice for safe delivery.
