Job summary

You will influence procurement strategies, manage client relationships, and drive value across the project lifecycle from early involvement to handover. A degree in Quantity Surveying, NEC contract knowledge, and a pragmatic, analytical mindset are essential, with willingness to travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Experience and knowledge of NEC Contracts.
• Practical mindset with strong math skills and ability to manage project finances.
• Flexibility to work in client environments to meet project needs.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide robust cost management processes, delivering accurate reports and data to support commercial decisions.
• Work with delivery teams to implement and monitor efficiency plans throughout the lifecycle.
• Challenge team members to drive best value for clients in delivery.
• Ensure understanding of contractual arrangements to meet client requirements.
• Support clients to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks for successful outcomes.
• Advise on contractual and commercial aspects to ensure project control.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with clear communication at all times.
• Provide guidance to junior commercial staff.
