Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in the UK to join a Complex Projects team. You will collaborate with clients, lead cost management, and manage procurement and contract administration across civil infrastructure projects.

The role offers flexible and remote work options with development opportunities. Ideal candidates will have a BSc in Quantity Surveying and be progressing towards RICS or equivalent bodies, with NEC4/FIDIC/ICHEME experience and knowledge of CESMM4/MMHW methods of

Qualifications

BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar.
Conversant in pre and post contract quantity surveying duties NEC4, FIDIC or ICHEME contract experience.
Understanding of methods of measurement (CESMM4/MMHW).
Experience with civil infrastructure projects (Highways, Water or Rail is desirable but not essential).
Working towards the Chartered Institute of Surveyors (RICS) or other recognised equivalent bodies.

Responsibilities

Collaboration – Work with client leadership, project managers, contractors and internal teams to maintain strong relationships.
Cost Management – Monitor and control project costs to ensure delivery within budget and manage contractor costs & payments.
Reporting – Provide regular financial reports and present financial performance and risk updates.
Procurement – Undertaking procurement or supporting evaluating and appointing contractors.
Contract Administration – Administer various contract types and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
Risk and Value Management – Identify and mitigate commercial risks and assist in value engineering.
