Kier Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Construction team in Stansted, Essex. The role focuses on managing commercial aspects, maximizing profitability, and building strong client and supplier relationships on regional projects.

Candidates should have experience in a similar role, with excellent communication and organisational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and some flexibility on hours is available for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• You have clear communication skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams, clients and supply chains.
• You have demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• You have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
• You're confident using IT packages including Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Managing commercial resources to maximise planned gross margin on assigned projects.
• Appointing contractors and subcontractors, and placing orders for materials and plant.
• Measuring and valuing work to support invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors and the wider supply chain.
• Identifying contractual and commercial risks and proposing ways to mitigate them.
