Job summary

Stonbury Ltd is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator for our Bristol-based Commercial team. The role covers pre-construction to final account, with responsibilities for pricing, budgeting, interim valuations and risk management.

A relevant degree, first principles pricing experience, and full driving licence are essential. You will work on NEC/JCT/FIDIC contracts, collaborate with the project delivery team, and prepare labour pricing for PayGo and subcontractors, ensuring timely revenue

Qualifications

Relevant degree in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, construction related discipline, or significant work experience.
Experience pricing works from first principles.
Ability to work on construction contracts using recognised forms, e.g., NEC, JCT, FIDIC, or bespoke Framework Agreements.
Strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel

Responsibilities

Carry out all commercial management duties on construction contracts from pre-construction through construction to final account and certificate.
Prepare labour pricing schedules for the delivery of works and for subcontractors.
Submit and agree monthly interim valuations and final accounts for timely invoicing and payment.
Manage change and events under NEC and other contracts.
Compile monthly reconciliations and assess work in progress for management accounts.
