Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited in Leicestershire is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join a growing residential groundworks contractor. The role blends estimating and surveying responsibilities across tendering and project delivery, with a focus on cost control, value engineering and client liaison.

You will review drawings, prepare estimates, manage subcontractor procurement and produce valuations and final accounts on multiple projects across the region.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator or in a combined commercial role within the construction industry.
• Experience in residential groundworks, civil engineering or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• A strong commercial mindset with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Construction (preferred but not essential).
• A full UK driving licence.

Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Residential Groundworks

An established and growing residential groundworks contractor is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join its commercial team in Leicestershire.

Working with many of the UK's leading housebuilders, the business delivers a wide range of residential infrastructure and groundworks packages, including roads, sewers, drainage, foundations, plot works and external works. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, this is an excellent opportunity to join a successful contractor with genuine long-term career prospects.

The Role

This is a varied commercial position, combining both estimating and quantity surveying responsibilities. Working closely with the commercial and operational teams, you will play a key role from tender stage through to project completion.
