Gold Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support delivery of a major National Grid framework across Yorkshire with a focus on NEC-based commercial management. The role is based on site in York/Leeds and offers a competitive salary with travel allowance and benefits as part of a long-term programme.

The successful candidate will lead cost tracking, forecasts, and variations, while working closely with site teams to ensure commercial controls align with the programme delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure, or utilities.
• Solid working knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial processes.
• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.
• Collaborative approach and ability to engage with operational and commercial stakeholders.
• Experience in earthworks, structures, utilities, or power projects advantageous.
• Residence within commuting distance of York or Leeds.

Aufgaben

• Support commercial management under NEC contracts.
• Track costs, forecast, and report against budgets.
• Prepare and submit compensation events and variations.
• Procurement, valuation and payment administration of subscontracts.
• Measurement, interim applications and contribution to final accounts.
• Work with site teams and planners to align controls with programme delivery.
