Job summary

Egis Group in Tees Valley is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support project managers and clients from concept and design through delivery to financial close on critical energy infrastructure projects.

You will manage commercial contracts (NEC3/NEC4 and occasionally FIDIC), prepare cost plans and cashflow forecasts, and provide risk and contract management guidance while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience, preferably within T&D or related field.
  • Self-starter, capable of working remote from management.
  • Experience with NEC and FIDIC forms of contract.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook and MS Excel.
  • Must have a driving licence and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Support the project team in establishing commercial contracts and providing risk management guidance.
  • Undertaken procurement activities and tender analyses; prepare awards recommendations.
  • Assist in Early Warnings, Compensation Events and project communications.
  • Monitor cost reporting and ensure payment applications are justified and accurate.
  • Provide contract and risk management support and participate in risk reduction meetings.
  • Maintain cost reporting for stakeholders and support in progress meetings.
  • Ensure contractor programmes are realistic and aligned with policy.
  • Ensure compliance with governance processes and maintain records.
