Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding construction commercial team in the UK. You will take ownership of the commercial management of a varied portfolio, overseeing costs, contracts and final accounts from tender through to final account.

The role offers progression as the business grows, with support from senior leadership and experienced colleagues. You will work on NEC3/NEC4 contracts and maintain robust commercial records, reporting

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC or HND in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.
• Proven industry experience working as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Sound understanding of construction and commercial processes.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation.
• Measurement and valuation of completed works.
• Prepare and submit applications for payment and agree final accounts.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments.
• Monitor project costs and produce accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and project documentation.
• Attend site visits and project meetings as required.
• Work independently on day-to-day quantity surveying activities, with guidance from senior members of the commercial team.
