Job summary

Size Group is seeking a commercially-minded Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will take ownership of the commercial management of our projects, ensuring robust financial control from start to finish.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll oversee cost plans, tender documentation, change events, risk management, and procurement, while maintaining budgets and administering JCT contracts. Collaboration with clients and subcontractors is essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years’ experience in quantity surveying, ideally with a main contractor
• A background in the prime residential sector and structural experience is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of JCT contract forms
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Responsibilities

• Lead on cost forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis
• Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and performance
• Produce monthly valuations and maintain the risk and opportunity registers
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
