Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Worksop. The role involves taking ownership of commercial management across a varied portfolio of construction projects, from tender through to final account, with support from senior leadership.

You will manage costs, contractual matters and procurement, working with experienced colleagues to ensure robust financial controls and timely reporting. This is a full-time, permanent on-site opportunity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Sound understanding of construction and commercial processes.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good time management and ability to manage own workload.
• Working knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation.
• Measure and value completed works and prepare applications for payment.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments.
• Monitor project costs and produce financial reporting.
• Maintain commercial records and project documentation.
• Attend site visits and project meetings; work independently with guidance.
• Ensure commercial processes comply with contracts and company procedures.
• Assist with cost value reconciliations and weekly budgeting.
