Job summary

CNX Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established luxury residential contractor known for bespoke homes across Edinburgh and the Lothians. The role leads the commercial function across multiple live projects, from inception to final account, reporting to Directors and the PM team.

You will manage cost plans, valuations, variations and final accounts, negotiate subcontracts and build strong client and supplier relationships, with hybrid working available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration and variation management.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation.
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage professionally with clients and subcontractors.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing business where you'll play a pivotal role in the commercial success of prestigious residential developments. Working closely with the Directors and Project Management team, you will take ownership of the commercial function across multiple live projects from inception through to final account.

The Role

As the Commercial Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring projects remain commercially successful while maintaining the exceptional standards expected on high-value, bespoke residential developments.
