Job summary

Bimplus, a well-established consultancy with a presence across the UK, is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join their London office in Whitechapel. The role offers hybrid working, flexible hours, and real progression opportunities.

You will oversee projects from inception to completion, review supplier proposals, raise purchase orders, and ensure delivery on time and within budget, liaising with clients and internal teams. A commercial background and strong cost-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveyor or similar with a commercial background.
• Experience reviewing contractor proposals and managing budgets.
• Willingness to visit sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects varying in scope and scale within Retail, Education and Commercial sectors.
• Review contractor proposals, collect information, negotiate and challenge costs.
• Raise purchase orders in systems and track delivery.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Work in a hybrid setup with some site visits.

Are you a Quantity Surveyor or similar from a Commercial background looking for a dynamic position withing a well-established Consultancy known for looking after and developing their staff offering autonomy to oversee projects and ongoing progression across the business?

This well-established Consultancy work in numerous sectors, primarily Retail, Education and Commercial and have a presence across the UK with several offices nationwide. They have continually grown in recent years to a point they now have a turnover of over £12m and are looking to grow the team at their London office to keep up with an ever increasing workload.

In this varied role you will work on projects from inception through to completion, reviewing and updating contractor proposals, raising purchase orders and helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will be responsible for liaising with clients, other departments and key stakeholders as you work primarily in office with some hybrid work and site visitation.

This varied role would suit a Quantity Surveyor or similar from a Commercial background looking to be the go-to specialist on a range of bespoke projects within a leading company who ongoing progression and the chance to upskill yourself.

• Head up and lead projects varying in scope and scale within the Retail, Education and Commercial sectors
