Job description

Leading civil engineering main contractor seeks to employ an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with experience of using the NEC form of contract, to support the delivery of a project in Southend.

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for supporting the commercial delivery of a £7million civil engineering project which is part of a long term framework.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the robust commercial management of a variety of projects. This includes overseeing financial performance, managing costs, conducting procurement processes, and maintaining accurate financial logs and reports.

You will work closely with customers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and achieving business plan commitment

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS), you will assist the commercial management of one of the projects.

Job Requirements:

Extensive experience in quantity surveying within a civil engineering sector

Proficiency with NEC contracts and their application in civil engineering projects
