Job summary

Manpower UK Limited in Scotland is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to prepare and manage Bills of Quantities, monitor project costs and support cost planning from tender through to final account.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, experience with BOQ, and proficiency in MS Office and QS software. Starting salary is circa £30,000 per annum, with on-site work in Perth, Scotland.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity measurement.
• Cost control and cost management to support budgets and financial performance.
• Cost planning including estimating, forecasting, and tender submissions.
• Cost reporting with variance analysis and final accounts.
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office and QS/cost management software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across site and office.
• Knowledge of civil engineering construction methods, contracts and industry standards.
