My client seeks a Quantity Surveyor to join them in Glasgow.
This will be an interesting role as you will have the opportunity to work on projects across a wide range of sectors.
They are seeking someone either at Project Surveyor level who may be recently chartered or someone with a couple of years post qualification experience.

My client is a long established busy firm of PQS with offices across the UK and abroad.
The Glasgow office is very busy and working on projects for both buildings and infrastructure.
You will be a Quantity Surveyor who is currently working for a UK firm of PQS.
My client would like someone who has around three years or more post graduate experience doing pre and post contract work.
You will need to have a recognised UK qualification in Quantity Surveying i.e. BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or similar and have around 3 plus years experience working for a PQS firm either post graduation or during your Degree if you were doing your BSc on day release.
Ideally you will be Chartered with the RICS.
You should have used JCT contracts and any knowledge of NEC contracts would be useful.
You need to have both pre and post contract experience.
You should have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken to deal with people at all levels.
Salary is in the region of £40000 to £60000 negotiable plus benefits include private medical and mental health cover, a performance related bonus, life assurance, flexible / hybrid working, professional fees etc.
