Gatwick Airport Limited is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage cost plans and estimates for projects across the lifecycle, including sustainability and logistics for major programmes. The role offers a hybrid office pattern with three days in the London Gatwick offices and two days remote.

You will report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and contribute to cost control, procurement strategy and contract administration across projects typically over £10 million, while delivering value

Qualifications

• Experience in cost engineering or commercial roles in construction, on projects typically > £10m.
• Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent in engineering/construction.
• Proficient with web-based contract management tools (e.g., Cemar).
• Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contract suites.

Responsabilités

• Manage project budget and ensure value for money.
• Oversee contract communications: Early Warnings, Instructions, and Compensation Events; accept/reject Contractor notifications.
• Resolve disputes through negotiation and escalation.
• Support tendering and evaluation, including pre-tender estimates.
