Job summary

Advance TRS is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major infrastructure programme at Gatwick Airport. You will provide full QS services from inception to completion on projects 10m+ and up to 100m+, ensuring cost control and commercial governance.

The role is on site at Gatwick, initially four days per week, with potential changes after 6–12 months. Lodging can be considered and expenses supported for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' relevant Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience delivering full QS services on projects typically valued at 50m+.
• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
• RICS membership or relevant professional qualification is highly desirable.
• Airport experience would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complete project cost plans and cost estimates.
• Support governance, procurement and risk drawdown processes.
• Manage project budgets and ensure value for money.
• Validate costs using benchmarks.
• Review contractor payment applications.
• Produce monthly cost reports (ACW and Forecast to Completion).
• Manage contracts of varying values and complexity.
• Administer NEC Options A, C and E.
• Support tendering and evaluation processes.
• Liaise with Programme/Project Managers and Commercial Managers.
