Job summary

Caval Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management across a variety of York-based construction projects. You will oversee budgets, valuations, variations and final accounts, coordinating with project teams and subcontractors to drive profitability and value.

Ideal candidates have proven QS experience, strong contract knowledge, and excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, cost management and commercial processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Relevant QS qualification or significant industry experience.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing construction team.

Working across a wide range of construction projects and sectors, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring strong financial control and commercial performance.
