Join us and help secure Britain's energy.

About The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll provide commercial leadership across a portfolio of infrastructure projects, helping to ensure they are delivered safely, efficiently, and with strong financial control. Working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams, you'll influence key decisions from early planning through to final handover while supporting the successful delivery of critical national infrastructure.

Why this role matters

Delivering and maintaining energy infrastructure requires more than technical expertise. Strong commercial management is essential to ensuring projects deliver value, risks are effectively managed, and investment is used wisely. This role provides the commercial insight and challenge that helps projects stay on track and achieve successful outcomes.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play an important part in shaping infrastructure projects that support the safe and reliable operation of the UK's energy network. Your work will influence decision-making, protect project value, and help ensure critical infrastructure is delivered efficiently for the customers and communities that depend on it every day.

What you’ll be doing

  • Producing clear, straightforward reports that help people make good decisions
  • Spotting opportunities to improve how things are done and add value
  • Keeping commercial and financial records accurate and up to date
  • Supporting and mentoring other QS's and Junior QS's in the team
What you’ll bring

You'll be an experienced Quantity Surveyor who enjoys being close to delivery and part of a hands‑on project team. You're comfortable with contracts, confident working with contractors, and practical in how you tackle issues. Organised, approachable and collaborative, you're also happy sharing your experience and supporting others to grow.
