National Gas is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial leadership across a portfolio of infrastructure projects within the East Region. You will work with Project Managers to influence decisions, manage risk, and deliver safe, reliable gas transmission projects across the network.

£55,500 to £65,500 + up to 6% bonus + company car

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll provide commercial leadership across a portfolio of infrastructure projects that help keep Britain's gas transmission network operating safely and reliably. Working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams, you'll influence key decisions, manage commercial risk, and help deliver projects that support critical national infrastructure.
This role sits within our East Region, a strategically important part of the network that includes Bacton Gas Terminal, seven compressor stations, and a wide range of operational and investment activities across the region.
Delivering and maintaining energy infrastructure requires strong commercial management as well as technical expertise. Every project must balance cost, risk, quality, and delivery to ensure customers receive value while maintaining the resilience of the network.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll help shape project outcomes from planning through to completion. Whether supporting major asset investments, managing contractual risks, or driving efficiencies, your work will directly influence the successful delivery of infrastructure that millions of people rely on every day.
